Configuration Settings

To configure the ‘Guest Wishlist’ go to Store > Configuration > Emipro > Guest Wishlist menu.

Admin is also allowed to set the number of products in the wishlist slider. To display all items in the wishlist slider, set ‘Display All Product’ to YES.

If the admin doesn’t want to display all products in wishlist slider, he needs to set ‘Display All Product’ to NO. As he has set it to NO, it is compulsory to mention the range in ‘Set Maximum Range Of Products’ he wants to display in the wishlist slider. So now only specified the number of items will be displayed in the wishlist slider.

The products in the wishlist would retain into the cookie session forever until the browser cookies are valid. If the guest user registers or logs in to his account, then the guest wishlist items will get transferred to the logged in customer's account wishlist.

Customer View

It is clearly visible here that even if the user is not logged in to the site, he is allowed to add products to the wishlist. The number of products in the wishlist will be visible from any of the pages. The user can add products to wishlist from the product page, category page, and cart page. The page will not be refreshed every time the product is added to wishlist as it is developed using ajax function.

In the wishlist slider, only 2 items are displayed even if the total number of items is 3. This is because of the configuration settings where the range is set to 2. It will vary according to the range set in Stores > Configuration.

To view all products in wishlist user needs to click ‘Go To Wishlist’ button and he will be able to view all his best-liked products. From the cart page, a user can add all products to the cart if he wishes to. Even after adding all item to a cart, the products will be visible on the wishlist. Or else he can remove all products using the buttons given below the products.

If you will disable Magento’s default Wishlist option then Our Module will not work in your system.

Our 'Guest Wishlist For Magento 2' extension is based on browser cookie; so functionalities are browser-specific. Also it will not work in private browser.
